I’m Morgan Bridger, and I’m so glad you’re here!

I’ve been a Licensed Somatic Psychotherapist since 2008 and I’m a certified Mindful Health & Wellness Coach and a certified Mental Health and Nutrition Specialist. I am strongly informed by the Internal Family Systems model and other tools that increase self-understanding and self-compassion, especially with people who have been impacted by traumatic or overwhelming life experiences. My masters degree in Somatic Counseling Psychology is from Naropa University, where all training rests on a foundation of contemplative self-discovery and mindfulness practices to help bridge the perceived divides between mind, body, and spirit.

In this space you’ll find heartfelt reflections, personal and professional stories, and encouragement to be gentle and kind to yourself when it matters most. I am a longtime student of self-compassion and mindfulness, reconnecting with the beauty and wisdom of our true Selves, and finding more ease and joy as we soften our resistance to life’s harder moments. Hard-won knowledge based on my own suffering and learning, as well as that of my coaching and therapy clients.

Modern life pulls us away from our true Selves—separating us from the belonging, community, and ancestral wisdom we need to feel whole. Through my work, I help us reclaim those lost connections and rediscover the power of real connection and mutual support.

I will never flood your inbox or your feed; I offer up only the reflections that feel authentically useful, and the simple, practical tips to help us embrace who we are and tune into our own innate goodness. Reminders that we’re not alone in the struggle to accept and love ourselves.

More about me…

Nearly everything I write about comes from lessons learned the hard way. I spent years navigating life with chronic illness, depression, anxiety, and way WAY too much stress. In my youth, I also battled anorexia—a struggle that took decades to untangle before I finally found my way back to love, appreciation, and peace with my body. But I did find it, and now, I live to help others do the same.
