Morgan, I love the voice you bring to this. It’s soothing, grounded, and deeply compassionate. The metaphor of being the ocean, not the waves, is such a powerful reminder of our capacity to hold space for our own pain without being consumed by it.

Your meditation and the RAIN practice offer such a compassionate, accessible way to navigate those stormy moments. Thank you for sharing this, it’s a gift to anyone feeling lost in the waves. 🌊

"And sometimes the storm that stirred up all these waves somehow sneaks up on you, comes out of nowhere, after many months of glorious sunshine and stillness. Maybe that’s when it’s the hardest to have hope that you’ll ever feel better. Maybe you thought you’d left such times behind. You thought you’d healed enough to move on, to never feel that way again."

Thanks for the reminder and meditation. I needed this today.

You are so welcome. I needed it last week, and found this particular practice so transformative that I decided to share it. I hope it serves you well, too.
